A week of sunshine has certainly lifted spirits around the yard, it finally feels like Spring has arrived! Horses have been enjoying being out for longer during the day relaxing, rolling in the mud, grazing and soaking up the sunshine. The mower has made it’s first appearance of the year, the smell of freshly cut grass is something we’ve missed over the winter!
Tomorrow we have two runners heading off in different directions, Castle Robin heads to Bangor for a 2.15pm race and Almazhar Garde heads to Newbury for the 4.45pm. As always, we hope both horses have a safe round and come home happy.
On Monday we have two entries at Wincanton, Jullou De Grissay is entered and could be running for the first time for us, we are excited to see how he gets on. Rare Edition is also entered back over hurdles.
Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome Jon Holton, who came to take some photos around the yard. He captured some fantastic shots and we’re really grateful to him for coming to spend some time with us. Thank you very much, Jon!
For now, we’ll continue to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts and keep everything ticking along as usual at home. We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
