Jamacho returned to winning ways back over hurdles on Sunday. It was great to see him run with the enthusiasm we all know he has. He was given a prominent ride by Paul O’Brien and really battled onto the line in front. He fell during his seasonal debut over fences and looked as though he lost his confidence last time out. Therefore, the drop down to hurdles seemed to do the trick. We are delighted for the Stratford Racing Club, and it was great to have so many of them at Worcester. Paul also rode Due Reward to finish 4th in the Handicap Chase at Worcester. He jumped and travelled well throughout, just weakening on the run in.

Vivas heads to Worcester on Wednesday. He ran a great race last time out at Ludlow to finish 2nd. This is a slightly tougher task, but he is in fabulous form at home. Lilly Pinchin rides.

The nicknamed ‘Joey the Jetaway’ headed out to the gallop for the first time on Saturday. He is showing a willing attitude and canter beautifully up the gallop. He is still looking for an owner, and really is a stunning horse. Please get in touch for more details. Gentleman Jacques and the Telescope had a go over some poles this morning, and it is great to see them furthering their education. It is also exciting having these youngster as you are always dreaming what could be. It is the Tattersalls Derby Sale in Ireland this week, Wednesday, and Thursday, before the Arqana Sales next Thursday and Friday. Charlie will be in attendance. Therefore, get your orders in. Hopefully there will be a few more boxes filled with smart looking prospects soon!

Other than Vivas on Wednesday, we have no other entries until Sunday. On Sunday, Beyond The Clouds, Oscar Montel and Present Storm entered at Cartmel. All the Rob Aplin owned horses! It is a proper summers day out racing at Cartmel.

Have a good week.
