Horses for Sale

20th September 2022

20 September 2022

Yesterday was a day where we were proud to be British. It was a privilege and honour to have been invited to The Queens funeral. It was a magnificent service for a magnificent lady. An extraordinary day.

A lovely day was had on Saturday for our rearranged Open Day. We apologise to those of you that could not make it and hope you understand due to the circumstances. However, we wanted to try and ensure we did have an Open Day before the season got going, and it looks as though the next few weekends will be busy with racing getting underway. Although, it was brilliant to see those of you that did attend. It was a great afternoon with a parade of horses, schooling demo and look around the yard.

Alien Storm ran a cracking race at Plumpton yesterday under Bradley Roberts to finish 2nd. That means Bradley has now lost his 100% strike rate! Unfortunately, it just looked as though they bumped into a better horse. He will come on for the run, and it will be exciting to watch him over hurdles next time.

A busy afternoon racing today, three runners in consecutive races. Little Bruce takes to the track again, after his brilliant seasonal debut at Uttoxeter last time out. Calidad is making his yard debut and step up in trip. They are both ridden by Lilly Pinchin. Bradley Roberts rides Indelible Spin, and she is in the bumper.

Entries for Maninsane and Everyonesgame at Worcester on Friday with Alghazaal entered on the flat at Haydock. Alghazaal also has an entry at Market Rasen on Saturday over hurdles. On Monday Present Storm and Zestful Hope are in at Newton Abbot.
