We have an exciting new purchase from Goffs UK, Glen Forsa arrived in the yard this morning. He is a big strapping chaser, and we are hoping to have lots of fun with him at all the big meetings this season. Glen will be turned out to grass early next week to finish his holidays, before coming back and getting to business. Currently he does not have an owner, but we do not think he will be hanging around for long. So please do get in touch if he takes your fancy!
Present Storm made a great yard debut at Southwell on Wednesday to come 3rd, we definitely think there will be more to come and Rob Aplin is certain to have a fun summer with her. Do Wanna Know is down to run this evening at Worcester, hopefully his final run before going on a holiday. Again, he has spent lots of time at Lew House Stables perfecting his jumping, so fingers crossed he runs a nice race with Paul on board. Western Miller has been declared in the chase at Stratford with Paul on board again. The going is currently good to soft, but if it gets any softer there will be a question mark whether he will run. We are hoping the awful weather we had here this morning was only localised and did not travel to Stratford! Although, we were not enjoying it, and would rather the rain would disappear.
Jamacho has an entry at Ludlow on Monday, and Calvario at Southwell on Tuesday. Entries on Thursday are for The Vollan and Punctuation at Worcester.
We really hope the weather dries up for our runners this weekend, and also for all of you to be able to go out and enjoy yourself now restrictions have eased. Have many of you managed to get back to the racecourse?
