Another week has flown by at Hull Farm, and while we were patiently waiting for rain last week... we're still waiting! With the opening Chepstow meeting feeling like it's just around the corner, we're all starting to get excited for the return of the core National Hunt season. The horses continue to step up their work and are looking in fantastic form, but like many yards around the country, we'd certainly welcome a good drop of rain to help get conditions right for the jumpers.
We have a few entries to look forward to this week, Action Replay & Ade Boy hold an entry at Worcester and Jullou De Grissay holds one at Market Rasen. Everyone is healthy, happy and working well, which is all we can ask for!
This morning, David Bass came in to school some horses alongside Daire McConville. It's always great to watch horses have their first jump back of the season, they love their jumping and they get very fresh afterwards, a pleasure to watch.
Away from the horses in training, we're also looking forward to hosting our Women in Racing stable tour on Friday. It's always a pleasure to open the yard gates and give people a behind-the-scenes look.
For now, it's a case of carrying on, keeping the horses happy and healthy, and if the heavens could finally open, we'd be very grateful indeed!
