Vivas takes to the stage today at Worcester. It is a tougher ask than Ludlow, but he really is in great form at home. Lilly Pinchin will take the ride. It does seem to always be hot at Worcester, and with the weather at Hull Farm this morning it looks as though today will be no exception. It is a scorching morning.
Yesterday One Last Dance went on away day to school, with Train Hill as a lead horse. This time of year, we take them away due to our grass being way to quick, and therefore only jumping in the school. It is also good to take them away and do something different. One Last Dance jumped superbly, and even went up over the fences too. Train Hill thoroughly enjoyed his day out and it was good to give him a freshen up. One Last Dance has now been entered at Stratford next week. She will be making her hurdle debut soon. She seems to have mellowed out since arriving at Hull Farm and has been pleasing in all aspects on her work.
Paul was in this morning. It was great to have him in and be able to sit on a couple of the young horses. He was happy with their progress.
A trip to Cartmel is on the cards for the weekend. Beyond The Clouds, Oscar Montel and Present Storm are all entered, and we hope if they run that they can bring home the sticky toffee pudding. Present Storm is also entered at Southwell on Monday.
Charlie is at the Tattersalls Derby Sale, and we are hoping he comes back with lots of nice store horses. Therefore, get your orders in. He will also be at Arqana Sale, France, next week. So, plenty of opportunity to pick up a nice one!
