Guetapan Collonges makes a winning return this season at Carlisle!
‘Goofy’ as he is known on the yard, put in a classy jumping performance to stay on and win the Bet In Play On Rhino.Bet Handicap Chase at Carlise last week under Richie McLernon. After flying the last to go ahead of Wasdell Dundalk, he toughed it out to keep his head in front. As a winner first time out last autumn too with a commendable strike rate over fences, we hope he can really make his mark this season. He is certainly one to watch!
Congratulations to his owner Mr JP McManus, along with all connections. Also a huge well done to the CLR team, especially Georgia, who adores him and rides him most days… he’s not always the easiest ride but days like this make all the hard work worth it.
