We welcomed almost 100 Old Gold syndicate members to the yard yesterday to see both Stroll On By and Big City Roller. It is always a joy for owners to see their horses in person, whether they own a full share or just a hair in a horse. Old Gold Racing aims to give owners a chance to reap the benefits of racehorse ownership for a fraction of the cost, by selling the horses in micro-shares, and renewing the ownership every year. Stroll On By is fully subscribed with 2000 shares, and Big City Roller has 2500 shares, with a few still remaining.
The syndicate members enjoyed a guided stable tour with Charlie who gave an insight into each horse, followed by a run down of both Old Gold Horses before heading up to the round gallop to watch them in action. Everyone was delighted that Lilly Pinchin was in to ride Big City Roller as his usual jockey!
