A Friday of seconditis! Maninsane and Everyonesgame both finished 2nd at Worcester last Friday. They both put up good performances. Maninsane chased the winner home and stayed on nicely under Lilly Pinchin. Everyonesgame just looked to bump into one better than him, however he finished 13 lengths ahead of the 3rd place under Brian Hughes. Friday also saw Alghazaal take to the track after a long layoff. It was a tough ask, especially when triumph hurdle winner Pentland Hills was in the race. He jumped slowly out of the stalls and therefore he was slow to get away. Despite this, he ran nicely until getting tired on the home straight, which he was entitled too. He will come on for the run and go over hurdles next time out.

Will Biggart has now gone part time, as he heads back to college. Lilly Pinchin and Paul O’Brien were in this morning. Therefore, we schooled a few. Alien Storm, Moon King, Caesar’s Palace, Alghazaal and What About Time all popped nicely around the school.

Present Storm runs at Newton Abbot today with Brian Hughes on board. Zestful Hope is declared at Southwell tomorrow with Paul O’Brien riding. Midnight Jewel, Stroll On By, Peter’s Portrait and Catuaba all take to Bangor on Wednesday. No Word, Glimpse Of Gala, Somekindofstar and Catuaba are entered at Warwick on Thursday. Catuaba is unlikely to run due to his declaration at Bangor. The Wise Traveller is entered up at Fontwell on Saturday, while Oscar Montel may make the trip to Kelso on Sunday. Finally, Parramount, No Word, Oscar Montel and Jamacho are all in at Uttoxeter on Sunday. A busy week ahead with runners and entries. It is great to see them all having their seasonal debuts, National Hunt season is upon us.

Have a good week everyone.
