Horses for Sale

27th June 2022

27 June 2022

Despite the rain, it was a fun trip up to Cartmel yesterday. Beyond The Clouds ran an absolute cracker to finish 2nd under Paul O’Brien. Oscar Montel looked flat out from the word go, and probably found the track too tight. Last week, Vivas ran another solid race to finish a close 4th. Lilly Pinchin rode him around Worcester. It was a scorching day at Worcester, it is always warm at that track!

Another new arrival to the Hull Farm string. A lovely Sholokhov, Lot 182 purchased from the Derby Sale. It was his first time long reining around the yard today, and Brad also sat on him. He is for sale, so do get in touch. It is great seeing all these youngsters at different stages in their education. Gentleman Jacques and the Telescope X Madam Bijou have excelled in their education and will soon go out for a short break. This gives them chance to mature and strengthen up, before returning to big school and cracking on with them.

One Last Dance makes her hurdle debut tomorrow evening at Stratford. Lilly Pinchin rides. She works well and has been jumping away nicely. Hopefully she can replicate this on the track.

Holidays are over for Calidad and If I Say. They were brought in from the field this morning and had shoes put on. The Wise Traveller and Soldat Forte have been in for a couple of weeks and just started back on the gallops. Therefore, we are slowly starting to get busier again and have a few more faces popping over the stable doors. The majority of horses will return from holidays during the middle of July.

Beyond The Clouds holds an entry at Newton Abbot, however due to running at Cartmel he will be unlikely to declare for Friday. As a result, there are not further entries for the week. Charlie will be attending Arqana Sale in France, and we are hoping for him to return with a few more new ones! As always, get your orders in!
