Glimpse Of Gala may be small but she sure is mighty. She put up another brilliant performance under Bradley Roberts and won in likeable fashion at Kempton. She relished the emphasis on stamina and staying power to gallop strongly through the line. It was absolutely fantastic for the Tweed Clad Fossils syndicate, who did get interviewed on ITV and it is worth a watch. Bradley also gave a brilliant account, it was his biggest career win and he quite rightly shouted out Brogan who does all the hard work with this mare. We are also delighted for our landlords who bred Glimpse Of Gala on the farm, Christopher and Fran Marriott. A true Hull Farm graduate! Alien Storm also ran at Kempton yesterday, he ran a creditable race despite the finishing result. It was a hot handicap hurdle and a big step up in class.
Haas Boy just ran at Catterick under Brian Hughes. It would appear that his run last week may have taken more out of him than he let on. He has been extremely fresh at home, but they can often display a false freshness. Maninsane takes to the track this afternoon at Leicester with Lilly Pinchin steering.
Lilly was in this morning, a miserable morning it was indeed. We managed to school four out on the grass, Harjo, Potters Hedger, Ardbraccan and Catuaba. We then schooled three around the ring, Snow Leopardess, Tea For Free and Lyrical Genius. As you would expect, they all schooled well and will be on the track soon.
Ardbraccan and Stroll On By are declared at Doncaster tomorrowm Lilly Pinchin steering. On Friday Harjo is declared at Haydock, Lilly steering again. Catuaba, along with Moon King, is declared at Taunton. James Best and Bradley Roberts ride respectively. Almazhar Garde, Potters Legend and Tea For Free are entered at Newbury on Saturday, with Well Dick and Harjo at Uttoxeter and Potters Hedger at Warwick. New Years Day has Tommy Cullen and The Wise Traveller entered at Catterick, with Hector Javilex and Miss Applejack at Cheltenham. Finally, Potters Legend is entered at Plumpton. Racing everyday at the moment.
