It’s not often we have more than one runner in a race but last Friday at Huntingdon we saw Zestful Hope and Haas boy come up against each other. Thankfully they both ran brilliant races to finish a very close 2nd and 3rd. We were thrilled to see Zestful Hope back in the winners enclosure where he belongs for his owner Ms Gillian Morgan. With Paul O’Brien on board, he rode a patient race and jumped fluently back over hurdles giving him all the chance to make the running. Haas Boy also showed us a promising run under Harry Cobden for Mr Malcolm Olden, but a mistake at the second last may well have cost him the win which was a shame as he was rallying after the last. Well done to both owners and we look forward to seeing both horses back on the track again soon!
