Friday was a day to remember for the Run Like A Girl Syndicate as they celebrated their first winner, Graecia. She made a story full of firsts, Daire McConville rode his first winner for the yard, and it was Graecia’s first win for us too! A special day to everyone involved, we are delighted with how much more settled she was, jumping with confidence and we look forward to seeing how she progresses further.
Moving on to this week’s runners, Delpotro heads to Sedgefield, he knows and loves this track well so fingers crossed he can go close. Later in the week we have several entries lined up at Southwell and Fontwell. Bowmore, Book of Tales and Freshers Week all hold entries at Southwell and Midnight Jewel holds an entry at Fontwell.
This morning David Bass & Paul O’Brien were in the yard riding out getting a feel for some of the winter horses. The nights are beginning to get darker, and the early mornings don’t seem as bright, there is a slight crisp in the air and it’s feeling a little like winter is coming.
Everyone is in great spirits after the weekend and we’re hoping for some more luck!
