It’s been another fantastic week here at Hull Farm, and what a way to kick things off. Rare Edition ran at Kelso over the weekend and put in a huge performance carrying two stone more than the winner and still finishing a brilliant second, a very encouraging start to his season. The momentum continued into Monday, when we celebrated Molto Bene winning on her chasing debut at Bangor. We are so pleased for all connections in these horses, they are in great form, and it is so rewarding for everyone.
After weeks of patience, we are finally getting the rain we’ve been waiting for, and it’s already starting to make a little difference – just what we need to get the season rolling! This weekend we have Book of Tales and Not At That Price declared at Uttoxeter on Friday, followed by a quieter weekend than usual with just one entry with Shan’t Wait at Hereford.
Last week, we hosted an open morning for Old Gold Racing, it was so brilliant to welcome so many into the yard. Everyone enjoyed seeing the horses, Big City Roller, Stroll on By and Whatyouwaitingfor, a fantastic morning all round!
Hopefully we can keep the good form going and celebrate some more winners over the weekend, fingers crossed!
