The weather may have been a bit doom and gloom today, but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits here at the yard. We were delighted to welcome Old Gold Racing for a stable visit to see Gerald Cooper’s exciting new talent, WhatYouWaitingFor — and it proved to be a fantastic day all round. This is a fantastic syndicate to be apart of as it continues to raise money for Prostate Cancer. Racing has a wonderful way of bringing people together and today was a perfect example of that.
On the racing front, we’re pleased to report that Big City Roller has been declared for Saturday. We’ve had plenty of rain in recent days which should suit him well, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing him back in action.
Looking ahead to Sunday, we’ll be heading to Market Rasen with both Glenmuick and Seamoon Story, who are in good order and ready to represent the yard.
All in all, despite the grey skies, it’s been a thoroughly positive day — great horses, great company, and most importantly, happy owners. We couldn’t ask for more.
