What a difference a week makes! After the recent spell of hot weather, the much cooler temperatures have been a welcome relief. The horses are certainly happier, and it's safe to say the humans are too!
It's hard to believe that tomorrow is the 1st of July already. Time really does fly, and that means our winter horses have just three weeks of their holidays left before they start returning to work. It won't be long before the yard begins to fill up again, and preparations for the new National Hunt season get underway. We're looking forward to welcoming them back and seeing what the season ahead has in store.
This evening we're heading to Stratford, where we have Delpotro running in the 8.18pm race, before making the trip to Worcester with Jullou De Grissay tomorrow. As always, our main priority is for the horses to come home safe and well, but we're also hopeful they can put up a couple of good performances—and, if we're lucky, bring home a winner!
Fingers crossed for a successful couple of days at the races, and we look forward to updating you next week.
